
2D/3D animation training
The generic 2D/3D Animation program (NTL.1J Digital Filmmaking) is a full-time, three-year program that can be completed with a two-year program in 3D/VFX animation.
This program is for students with an artistic and creative flair, a strong taste for drawing and interested in a career in the film, video game or visual effects industry.
Throughout their training, students learn the artistic fundamentals related to observation of reality while using 2D/3D software. This practical approach allows them to discover all the production stages of an animated film, from the script to the editing.

Training details
This on-campus training program prepares you for jobs in of animation and 3D images. During your training, you will learn to lead team projects in real production conditions.
The program lasts 33 months divided into 6 sessions (3 years) and can be completed by two years of of 3D/VFX specialization.
Pedagogy (2045h): artistic and technical 70%, project management 20%, creativity and culture 10%, languages 90h
At the end of your training you will obtain a double diploma :
• Quebec (3-year AEC)
• European (Bachelor level and 180 European credits – Level 6 EQF).

Admission conditions
To be admitted, you must have a high school diploma 5 + 1 (Province of Quebec) – any (student job, CEGEP or sabbatical), a grade 12 (Ontario) or Baccalauréat (France).
You will also have to pass the entrance exam which will confirm your talent and creative potential. This one-day exam covers topics such as: drawing, general culture…
