You’ll have to take the entrance exam to confirm your talent and creative potential. This one-day exam covers topics such as general and specialized knowledge of video games or animation, artistic tests, and an oral interview with a portfolio… This pre-selection allows us to identify the talented creative person you are!
To be admitted, you must first pass the entrance exam.
You must have a 5 + 1 year high school diploma (Province of Quebec) – no matter which one (student job, CEGEP or sabbatical), a grade 12 diploma (Ontario) or a Baccalauréat (France).
If you’re from another country, don’t hesitate to contact the school to find out if you’re eligible.
There is no age limit for training at our school.
The Preparatory Year is a 7-month intensive year.
The 2D/3D Animation course and the Tech-Art Video Game course last 3 years.
The 3D Animation/VFX course (Master’s level) lasts 2 years.
Once you’ve passed the entrance exam, you’ll need to apply online for a Certificat d’Acceptation du Québec (CAQ), and then apply online for a study permit. The school has resources to help students with the immigration process.
Approximately $1300 CAD / per month (885 euros / per month). This estimate includes shared rent, food expenses, transportation, electricity, telephone and internet bills.
Our classes never exceed 25 students. This allows our teachers, who are industry professionals, to provide personalized support. Our training courses are carried out under conditions similar to those in professional studios (production processes, teamwork and software), and are in phase with market expectations. The school year is punctuated by studio visits and lectures by industry professionals. In this way, our students get to know the industry and strengthen their network, with the aim of initiating a transition to the professional world.
Classes start in mid-September (fall session).
